The Temp-Tec Reader is a hand held data gatherer that can download files from the Thermochron data loggers just by touching them. The Temp-Tec Reader can hold files from 370 Thermochron data loggers before off-loading the files to the PC. The receiver is able to see immediately if any temperature problem has occurred during transport without having to download to a computer first. Temp-Tec Reader fits in a pocket, is sturdy and watertight and very easy to use.
Loggers can be read safely many times in any temperature study use, as Temp-Tec Reader cannot interfere with the logging or the files. When off-loading files to the PC, the off-load is fast and secure via USB connection. The software sorts the files by date and by the details that were inserted in the files by the shippers name, product codes, destination, etc.. Any alarm situation is easily seen. Temp-Tec Reader may be programmed to disregard a set period of time when the temperature may get too high, for instance during unloading, without announcing an alarm situation.
